Andrea Thoms
I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor who studied at Oregon State University and has a Masters in Science. As a dedicated therapist, I am passionate about helping individuals navigate the challenges of life through compassionate, trauma-informed care. With years of experience, I have had the privilege of working with a wide range of populations, including thrivers of trauma, individuals struggling with mental health challenges, and those facing life transitions. My approach is rooted in empathy, respect, and the understanding that each person’s journey is unique. I believe in creating a safe, supportive environment where clients can feel heard, validated, and empowered to heal. My commitment to trauma-informed care ensures that all therapeutic interventions are based on an understanding of the impact of trauma and a focus on safety, trustworthiness, and collaboration. Whether you are seeking help for anxiety, depression, PTSD, or simply need someone to walk with you through life's complexities, I am here to help guide you towards healing and growth. I am a mother and enjoy hiking, nature photography and the ocean. In my downtime I am looking for rocks out in the mountains, or taking a hike! I love a good campfire and star gazing. Music and art are transformative therapy practices that I often bring into the therapy room.
