Hello and welcome to counseling! If you have found yourself on this page, that means that you want something to be different in your life. You are brave for seeking help and being willing to address the areas of discomfort in your life. Growth comes from being uncomfortable and you should be proud of yourself for taking the first steps.
A little bit of information about me- I am a clinical professional counselor (CPC) intern, and I was born and raised here in Nevada. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with family, going outdoors, and doing art and crafts. I have been practicing since 2022 following my graduation from Walden University. I received my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
I am continuously learning, and my areas of interest are anxiety, depression, trauma, OCD, grief, autism, perinatal care, and relational wounds. I enjoy working with veterans, first responders, adults, and couples. My therapeutic modalities are dependent on your needs as the client. I work from a person-centered perspective with the use of attachment theory, solution-focused interventions, DBT skills, CBT, and narrative therapy. I believe in the importance of healthy boundaries within the self and with others. I believe in making self-care a priority. I also believe that you, as the client, have innate abilities to improve your own wellness. My goal as your counselor is to help you hack into these abilities to improve the quality of your life. I look forward to working with you and learning more about you!
