Paul Engel

My passion is helping others to identify their needs and talk about themselves to the Degree needed for change and improvement. I am the father of 3 adult children now living with their families in Montana, Idaho and here and we love the Mountains and fresh air of the Truckee Tahoe region. I grew up in Central California spending 22 years in the pharmaceutical and diagnostic medical community and the teaching hospitals that the providers offered their services from USC, UCLA up North to Santa Barbara and SLO. I then unplugged to the heavy travel and traffic and moved my family to Montana where it was beautiful but very cold concentrating on becoming a provider of mental health services. Since 2018, Reno was and is the perfect climate and community for our kind of living and recreation and the flyfishing here along with exercise outdoors is my way of healing and thriving. I love to help those with anxiety, attention concerns along with grief recovery, depression and substance abuse. I will be honored to come along side you in this journey as your Therapist here at Silver State Counseling.
